artArtopia is a comprehensive Web-based arts experience covering the visual and performing arts. Students can closely examine important works of art and take part in activities that teach about styles, principles and processes of each art form. They can write about the artworks online, collect art cards in a virtual portfolio and view videos of professional artists at work. sandpSketch and Paint is a very intuitive art program which allows you to create and save your own masterpieces. You can even open a .jpeg image already saved on your computer. Great for individual use or with an interactive whiteboard. No registration or downloading required.

This program is part of a collection of fascinating stuff by Tom Eriksson on his site One Motion.
