Kideos

kideosKideos is a place for children to safely watch videos online. Each video on Kideos has been screened by their ‘Video Advisory Council’ before appearing on the site. Their goal is to empower parents to feel comfortable in allowing their child to spend time on Kideos, while also making sure children have a thoroughly entertaining experience.

ksThe web site offers early learners, with the aid of care-givers, a tool to find and use content in the form of

 games   songs and stories. It is possible for the child, alone or with assistance, to select content. The content that is found to be most engaging or requested by a child can be added to a personal list, via an updateable ‘My page’ mechanism.

There is also a selection of Educational Games for children aged 7 – 12

Playbox from Planet Science

planetPlaybox has some delightful pre-school activities from Planet Science. Three levels of difficulty in the science themed pairing , jigsaws and matching games.

Train Tracker

train Train Tracker is a lovely activity for young children who are still developing their mouse control. Can also be used with switches for pupils with special needs. Pupils create their own track then watch the train as it chuffs along – or not!
