I have long been convinced that the internet is the future of quick and easy access to quality applications for use in schools and most of it is free. No longer are we dependent on expensive servers which require technical support in schools. Now we have robust internet connections, we can be more confident in depending on it.

As ICT Consultant 3 – 13 for Warrington, I have made it my mission to collect together useful tools and applications that I think will play a part in offering pupils and teachers a rich and interactive experience.

    Hi. I found your posting about our web site on Google and was not familiar with Warriblog. Thanks for the kudos and mentioning of PicLits.
    Language arts teachers from about K4 thru K12 are over half our users.
    We hope PicLits will remain a useful tool for teachers. It should stimulate some creative writing but equally important is it usage in teaching grammar, sentence sturctures, vocabulary, punctuation and even spelling. We have a “LEARN IT” section which has three sub-categories that should lead a teacher to create some in class or outside class writing ideas. The photos and words change daily and the archieves are on file and on aq carousel. More to come in 2009. Any ideas and feedback is always helpful.
